chews up little children and kittens.

I think they use it for mining of some sort, just kinda chews the terrain away. Saw it on Jeremy Clarkson's program once.

It's a digger. A rotating drag liner, if you will. Each scoop takes about as much dirt as the loader in my avatar, (thats about 35cubic yards or about 2 regular 10 wheel dump trucks) but this bad boy keeps digging continuosly since it rotates. Big stuff.
