Life after AH...My story....

Good read, it's a great story of progression that I wish more people would take. Glad to see you got where you wanted in th e game- sometimes after accomplishing a truly difficult goal, anything related to it afterwards seems to pale. I'm going thru a period of disinterest in AH2 right now, but I know I'll be back sooner or later, if even at a reduced amount of time.

Glad to see you've given those other areas of life the attention they deserve, each is on par, if not exceeding, the recreational activity AH was for you.

Take care, g'luck and hope to see you back occasionally.

Surrounded by suck and underwhelmed with mediocrity.
I'm always right, it just takes some poepl longer to come to that realization than others.
I'm not perfect, but I am closer to it than you are.

Thx everyone for all the kind words.  Just hearing from you guys makes me wanna get back in the MA.  However if I was gonna fly again I need to make sure its gonna be "play time" like poop says.  Nope.....im not ready yet.

I put up a couple of pics of a recent track day I did at Grattan raceway (Grand Rapids MI).  Im sorry they are so big but I dunno how to make them smaller ;-)

Man do i miss the days we used to battle it out in the DA. Especially in F6Fs. I learned a lot from deuling you. You were one of the people i would get on to DA with for a little bit evey night. I still have the F6F deul where we ran out of gas. I have kind of slunk away from AH. But i did join the BK's and enjoy flying with them a lot when i get a chance.

I find myself at a loss for words trying to describe the feeling I had playing this game for the first six months but then I realize that all of you had the same feeling I did and there is no need to try to put it into words.

So true

Nomakian!

I forgot what your bike looked like bro. Getting nice man!

Here is a pit of my bike. gixer 750 Ofcourse ;) Altho I only had her for a few months I was able to push it to the limits. More like the ragged edge. Doing 130 and feeling like you were going slow wasnt a good feeling when you realized just how fast you were going! lol.

I sold the 750 to make room for a 1000 and the deal is still in the works sorta kinda...  Its a tubo bike, garratt T3. Once I can get a price from the guy and get him to part with it I will finnaly have it and be able to come out and go riding with you. I've taken it for rides on more than one occation and it is fast. REAL fast. Alto my car pretty much takes up all my AH play time I try to find time to get out on someones bike now that I dont have one. Sooner than later I will have it and we'll be cruizin ;)

I wanted to do a rear euro tail light setup like you have but never did. I like it. ;) Looks sick man.

Here are somes pics of my bike on the last day I had her. :(

it's all Shanes fault ..

if he'd lost, nomak wouldn't end up as a skid on some track and his kid's friends wouldn't call him hamburger head

hope you're happy Shane :)

Got bored when the challenge ended.  Story of life.  We all need new challenges.

Don't even have to win all the time to get bored.  Once something is figured out, our pioneering nature leads us to new mysteries.

Better for the soul (and often the wallet) to keep learning new skills rather than just rack up scores with old ones.
