Till I get my dream computer. I cant wait to start playing games like half-life2 and doom3. I am buying everything from newegg specs below. With overnight shipping=1,919. O and of course cant wait to play aceshigh. Its going to take me a bit to get started cause i have to setup Ch setup. well other than that wish me luck on my first build.

I'd take the extra step and get a Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS PCI Sound Card ($85.99) instead of the SB Live. The SB Live is a good card, I'm using one myself but I wouldn't put it in a new system given the opportunity to get something better (and still supported with newer drivers).

I didnt know what I was talking about. I thought I seen that somebody said that. On the amd forums. But I guess not. I was thinking of the MSI. Or somthing. I think I will just stay with this card for a bit.

The onboard sound with that board is more than adequate. I have the K8N Pro and its a very nice onboard sound setup.

I would pay them no mind. They're just jealous.:D

Make to see what the onboard sound is on that motherboard.
It might be better than the SB 5.1 card.

No use in putting in a inferior card.

Most onboard sound cards are of decent quality regarding the sound, but IIRC they all seem to suck up CPU like crazy. I've got the lowly SBLive! in my FX53 system now.
