Well, you all need to keep in mind that the lack of competition in the tank, AA GV and the unified gunner stats are perforce going to be higher than any given aircraft.

Try totaling fighter kills and see how that looks next to the Panzer IV H.  That would be a much more realistic view.

If there were 40+ models of tanks in AH you wouldn't see the Panzer IV H with 60,000+ kills.

For some reason I'm derving Panzer IV in AH2 a lot, I never drove the things before.  At first it was just because my hat switch was broken which made flying difficuklt but even with a new joystick I still like tanks more now.  Maybe I'm just burnt out with planes?

It' touted as a flight sim, not a general war sim. Kinda sad that in a flight sim a tank has the most kills.

Add up all osty, all panzer, all m16, all tiger kills, okay? Then add up ALL p51B/D n1k2 190A/F/D 109E/F/G La5/7 p47d-11/25/40 p38 f4f/fm2 f6f f4u1/d/c/-u4 hurr1/2 spit 1/5/9/14 typh/temp etc etc etc etc etc etc

And you will see that the tank kills are LITERALLY a small fraction of the entire GV kills, methinks.

Okay, so who's willing to prove me right? Who wants to sit and add up all those numbers for us?

I gotta agree, it sounds alot more accurate as Aces Low. Aces Horde is even more accurate.

The real sad part is that its still the best show in town (basically still the only show in town). I personally hope that there will be some serious competition for AH out there, I say that because I dont like what the game has become with its huge player base and mass minded mentality. Perhaps some competition would be healthy?

I was one of the guys who stayed with AW till they pulled the plug, there  was a real fun period when alot of guys left for AH beta & first version, and AW3 was still up & had about half the players it had at full strength, it was alot of fun for about 2 months, for me anyway.

Fact is : the panzer battles in AH2 and Warbirds suck compared with wwiionline.

Otoh air battles in wwIIonline suck.

Did my service as tank platoon commander
in 3 different tank designs.

2 with turret and 1 without.
My ammo last for 6 Lancasters, or one Yak3.

Give it about a year, manned ack/ 5 inch guns will be leading the kill lists... you never have to "die" in those.

Yup just keep it all planes!

Another year,  ya should have well over 50 players in the MA.

Not that people are leaving now or anything.

Actually the land grab is moving to the realm of the GV's as it should really.

I quite like the idea that there is a ground war under me whilst having fun in the skies.

Its a pity that to "land grab" GV's have to attack air fields..........

Whilst there are locally quite often inbalances of numbers I do not think that GV numbers up set air borne game play other than their contribution to airfield attrition and the OTT ability of the MKIV pintle gun.

btw any one notice which ac consistantly hands the la7 its bellybutton (plane v plane) month on month?
