seperated stick.cfgs for different planes?
« on: September 23, 2001, 05:36:00 AM »
is it possible to save special stick setting s only for one specific plane as it works with the sounds?

Cause it is sometimes a bit troublesome to jump from one plane to another.

atm i have my stick settings modified to fit my primary ride the D9 but if i now jump to another plane it can be quite hard to use the D9 stick settings for a TnB plane i.e.

You can't save stick setups for each different plane tho it would be nice.

The only thing i can think of would be to save the stick scaling info CFG file for each plane you wish to fly in a separate folder.  Not sure which file that is, possibly stick.cfg

The largest drawback, is you would have to quit AH put the cfg file for the plane you wish to use in place then restart AH, whenever you want to change planes.

This belongs to my whishlist too.

It would be veery nice to different conf. to plane and vehicle. Example. I would like to have different roll settings to fighter and gunnery.

Maybe some day...

>might as well make all planes fly exactly the same before doing that

different stick settings do exatly the opposite to me fester, for a TnB plane i really like a light elevator, while in a BnZ i want a relativ hvy elevator with very much feeling and sensity in the low G sector.

I agree it maybe makes it easier to handle the specific plane, but thats not bad at all.
