Someone alluded to a story that's gonna break this week involving a group of Texans and some pretty thick involvement in this scandle. No idea if it's gonna happen, but it's going to be interesting if it does...

Not so much because I find the story itself interesting, but more so from the reactions of those who have been heaping tons of blame on France et al.

What'll be even MORE interesting is that the reaction will be that any US citizens involved should be punished swiftly and severely, moreso perhaps than even the French et al.
If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!

The UN has been useful in the past. To us, is it still worth the money we throw at it? While it does give voice to many countries that would otherwise go unheard I think it's time we cut off this world welfare program and establish relationships with all countries individually. Get US out of the UN.

I'd like to see you get banned for that display of distasteful hatred.

But I'm just a fascist.

Political satire has to have some element of truth or at least supposed truth in order to be even a bit funny. The first comic does. Staga's might to some if there were claims of private contractors raping Iraqis at the direction or approval of the US military, there aren't.

Marlet & Iron...you guys serious?

I mean, Rip posts a funny, yet very offensive, comic (which you no doubt agree with) and Staga sends one back your way and you get upset.

LOL...you guys have some seriously thin skin.

I'm not upset. I just find his cartoon to be unfunny and would like to understand why he does.

Rip's comic was offensive?  It it's implying those those nation's and the UN were profitting off the oil for food program while condemning the war in Iraq.

Staga's states the US hands out medals to people who rape and torture the most prisoners.

If you don't see the difference, you have a seriously hosed value system.
