Nah... they're probably rooting for him again... he set them back a bit, but he's been a boon to recruiting efforts.

I'm sure you're joking but there are more than a few that probably believe what you said. However, if they truly wanted Bush to stay in power they wouldn't be trying so hard to undermine our efforts in Iraq.

Tarnishes it, unfortunately.

That doesn't negate the accuracy nor poetry of the words, nor even the essential undeniable truths of them, but sadly ends up by way of cruel juxtaposition to their context, highlighting a stark disconnection between those truths and the objective they were in service of.

All you're saying is that you're being optimistic about the whole thing. Nothing more. But I think that's great.
