Anyone notice there was a Communist/Socialist party line?

All politics are local. I voted Kerry, most other dems, and a few republicans who have their heads screwed on right

Add an easy 1000+  for Kerry for the students i directly work for.

I went to my regular polling place and gave them my name... I wasn't on the list! Then they told me they had adjusted the precincts and my polling place may have changed.

I'm gonna read that sample ballot more carefully next time.

I found it though...

VOTED

Wife and I both straight Rep.

Brother and his wife and Mom and Dad, same.

I know no one personally that voted Dem. several Kerry lovers but they did not vote, said they were to busy to be bothered. They answered when I questioned them that their vote won’t count anyway as the Electors vote for the Pres??

True, I could not believe what I was hearing, this was a whole crew of 8 workers who had  Kerry stickers on the cars they drive, go figure.

Help is on the way!

I wonder what makes this game (or at least this BBS) so skewed to the GOP. It seems the age groups vary, but this BBS in no way reflects how close this race really is. I wonder why this game seems to attract conservatives?

Ive asked the same question here before and the only conclusion i could draw from the replies was that wargames mostly attracts a sertain kind of war/military gamer and also very few women ;)

A board for say... sims (the game) or other sports type games would prolly be more to the center and left.

Interesting demographic we have here.

Mostly White, middle to upper middle class, conservative, gun toting, former military.

There are a few of us who 'color outside the lines' a little.

I'm mostly white with a little spanish (spain spanish) mixed in., Middle class. Moderate independant, dont have a gun, And not former military. ( though it is my single largest regret in life)

Voted Bush cause after reasearch I felt he was the least terrible choice.

But really Im in a no loose situation.

If Bush wins, the least terrible choice IMO will have won.

If Kerry wins it wont matter cause in all probability the Reps will control both houses thus making Kerry impotent.

Plus in 4 years I will again get to try to make the choice of the least terrible candidate and wont be forced to Vote republican by default to vote against Hillary
