is there a flyable p-38?

I downloaded the 2.04 patch but that does not seem to have added the 38.

There's 2 p38j and p38l. I posted direct links to the 2 patches for some one else on the board but can't be bothred right now to search.

If you have the FB gold pack then it includes AEP (that's all the gold pac is; FB + AEP) and the 38s are flyable already.

If you just have FB you are **** out of luck...

If you have the gold pac then you just need 2 patches

Box to 2.01

2.01 to 2.04

(there is no 2.02 or 2.03)

Make sure you down load the game patches not the dedicated server patches.

What Wotan said.

AEP is definitely worth it.  I'd say go for it if you don't already have it :)

While we're talking IL2, I've been futzing around with the Full Mission Builder in the original IL2: Sturmovik game and have created 4 missions about the defense of Berlin, where you fly 109G2s and 109Fs against other 1942-ish Soviet aircraft.  No long flights - the Red base and the German base are practically next-door neighbors.

Any interest?

Fileplanet sucks arse but whatever...

SW is right, how many games do you that that you can just install patches in any order?

I would reinstall but if you don't want to the try installing 2.01 over what you got then do 2.04 after that ands see how it plays.

As I said I would just uninstall and start from scratch..

I got Pacific Fighters. It bumped it up to ver 3.0.
Seems I can't connect to the War_Clouds_EF and WF servers anymore.. error says they are 2.04 or something..
how can  fly on servers running AEP version?

think about it.. is it really cool to do this on the HTC forum? Not that it matters to excisting customers, but maybe to new customers this may not be the best place to post about competing games.

I dunno.... just how i feel. :)

I dont even have a puter that i can play AH or any other games on so im not biased...just a reflection :)

HTC will prolly not stop the thread cause that would be bad form, but i dont think they like it.
