Isn't Moore wrong on the legality of Bush running again?  I know it's true there's a two term limit, but I thought that only applied to consecutive terms.  I think he could legally run again in 2012.

Oh, didn't realise you were anticipating a reply, as your argument wasn't worth the time to reply to.

I'm allowed an opinion on 3rd world countries and genocide, or anything else I like aren't I? Just as you or anyone else is. From your message are you saying Iraq was worth it to free it from an evil tyrant?

And sometimes I'm just bored at work which makes argument alot more intresting then agreement. How can you really understand anyones true opinion over just a message board, if you like give me a call and we can have a real chat.

Who's we all think? The whole message board? LOL

To be honest, who you elect has nothing at all to do with me whether it's Kerry or Bush. Atleast Bush has some Character and Charisma but he's still comes across as a mumbling idiot.

To be honest I actually think Bush might do pretty well this term, given he's realised a few things from his last 4 years and learnt from it. Though he's still going to be stuck with a big mess in Iraq years after "Mission Accomplished".

Well, you seem to have a lot of opinions, one of which is: "It is amazing, people seem to lack any thought or opinion themselves and just resort to repeating the campaign advertising messages. "

So I'm wondering what the source of your opinions are? Or are you too just regurgitating the greenie/liberal line. I'm amazed at the amount of "liberals" out there that would prefer to take the morale high ground of not invading and let the Iraqi people rot under that scumbag just so that they "feel good" about having peace in the world.

I think it was worth it to get rid of Saddam from a genocidal point of view. I also think WMD found or not, Saddam was going to make things worse in the middle east and it was a now or never situation (its kind of hard to something once he has his nukes).

Have a think about this Gixer:
 - US doesn't invade Iraq
 - UNs game with Saddam goes on another 10 years
 - Saddam annouces he has nukes
 - Saddam starts playing chicken with Israel (much to the delight of the neighbouring Arab nations)

Add to the mix the Saddam might die in that timespan and be replaced by his sons (far worse than Saddam imho).

Add to the mix Saddam proding Al Qaeda and whoever into playing chicken with the USA.

Short term vision says Iraq is "a big mess".

Long term vision says if you don't do it now the mess will be much worse later on. A nuclear conflict in the Middle East is a damn scarey thought.

Perhaps you lack the maturity for a big of long term vision?

Funny, while your looking at the long term and what Sadam "Might of done or intent" Iran is already doing or has completed most of it. Didn't they just test fire a missile that can reach past Israel the other week? All the while they are busy building nuclear bombs to put in them.

Priorities got a bit screwed on that one.

Classic Gixer... the "what about them?!?!" fallback.  Way to bury the question then spread a bit of hindsight over it.

Yes but they played the game better, they're not giving anyone an excuse to invade. While they may have the ability to hit Israel they haven't done things like drop gas on their own people, or sponsor terrorist families. Thats the difference. Saddam exhibited a willingness to play psycho with his own people and neighbours... Iran hasn't (recently). Same goes with the NK's.
