Hi,
I recently upgraded to AH II and now I am having trouble getting my rudder peddles to work. I am using Win XP and have the Saitek X45 and CH Pro USB peddles and the were configured and worked great before I built my system and upgraded to AH II. Peddles are recognized and calibrated in Windows and AH sees them. I then assign the rudder to the CH peddles but they will only move it to the right. Any help would be great thanks.

Sounds like a calibration problem, select the pedals then click calibrate.

I have the CH USB flight yoke and USB pedals and am having similar control assignment issues. I cannot get AH to see both devices at once. If I have the pedals plugged in first, AH only allows me to assign controls to it. If I have the yoke plugged in first, AH will only let me assign controls to it.

I wasn't having this problem with my previous version of AH, and my other simulators are still working fine.

I wish I hadn't upgraded to AHII.

Are you using the CH control software? There are lots of people on here using CH stuff, just give them a chance to see your post.

I have CH Combatstick 568, Pro Pedals and Pro-throttle. AH2 (latest version) will not see ANY of my USB stuff. All it sees is my mouse.

I MIGHT have found part of the problem. I downloaded CH's chdelete program. Unplugged my USB controls, ran the chdelete, then plugged them back in.

NOW, even the game control program in the Control panel sees them.

HOWEVER, if I use the CH Controler to calibrate my controls, they disappear again.

I get the feeling this combination doesn't like working in XP.

It does work, but IIRC there is a specific way you have to set them up before they will work properly. I know this problem has been posted before. Try doing a search using Control Manager or CH Control Manager.

As for having them recognize in WindowsXP, do you have SP2? If so make sure you have the latest version of CM, ver. 3.5. Without this version in SP2, you may have problems. Also, while CH tells you with Win95 - Me to disconnect the devices while installing the software, in Windows 2000 - XP you have to have them plugged in when you install the software. It's good that you used the CHdelete, as sometimes CM doesnt uninstall completely and this can screw up a later install attempt. Also make sure you have your AV software turned off before you install it, as this can interfere with a proper installation as well.
