Just curious what some of the BB's favorite Cop Shows are? I get asked this all the time and currently the most realistic true to life show that I have seen is HBOs "The Wire."

The First half of Law and Order.

Denis Farina is a great addition, even though Lenny Briscoe is one of my all time favorite TV Charactors.

I really enjoy The Wire.  I've seen every episode and its well into the third season now.  The family moved from Merlin when I was 6 and I keep wondering if I ever go back and Balmor to visit will I see Hamsterdam.  Not a place I'd want to hang out.

Andy Griffith Show. Barney Fife is THE prototypical rural cop.

Farina has been great.

My favorite is CSI.  I find that I can relate to the characters because for the most part they're a bunch of dorks.  The characters in CSI: Miami and CSI: NY all think they are just way to cool.
