Got my system back up and running after a HD crash and reinstalled everything brand new including AHII. Everything is working now except my sound in the game. Vox even works. I tried reinstalling the game again, same thing. I went into the sounds folder and played every single sound in WMP, and I know they work. The folder name isnt messed up. I even tried installing Waffle's custom sounds and while the install went perfect I still have no sounds. Sound works fine outside the game, and it was working fine before my HD crashed for everything.
Any suggestions?
Sound card is a SoundBlaster Live! 5.1 digital with fresh install of drivers, fresh install Windows XP.
I am not experiencing any other problems in the game except for low fps, and thats mainly because I havent reset all my video settings yet. There are no hesitations, no freezes, no pops or crackles, or sound of any kind except for Vox. That comes through loud and clear lol.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
