You can have as many as one other person in your vehicle.

Salue!

Using the   .join (handle)  command you can have someone else join the vehicle with you.  This works for all planes, vehicles, and boats in the game.  The fighters all the second person can do is ride along but anything with a gunners position the second person runs the guns for you.  The person taking the vehicle will only be able to drive while the other person will man the gun(s).
When a .join (handle) is sent the person it is sent to will recieve a popup window asking if they want to accept or decline the person asking to join.  Once joined the other person can only unjoin in the tower once the sortie is over.   To unjoin just give the command   .unjoin  .

Example:

Hit /   to bring up the radio bar.
type .join Rocket  (Rocket replaces the handle)
Rocket hits accept on the pop-up window.  Now Rocket has an observer if he is in a fighter or a gunner if he is in a vehicle, bomber or boat.
After the sortie hit / to bring up the radio bar and type .unjoin

In H2H you can do the same but the pop up window won't appear the person taking on the extra member has to bring up the radio   /   and then type .accept or .decline  .

NOTE: you have to have the . (dot) in front of any commands given in the radio bar.

Salute
Rocket
