A "Smidge" heavy on the weathering, otherwise it looks great.

Don't think you would see the Akagi's Air Group Commander's aircraft in that sad of shape. Especially as this a/c is set early war time period. Wasn't untill later when things were getting tough that they let the paint jobs go - and this was mostly land based aircraft. Aircraft on the ships pretty much looked a little better.

The weathering isn't correct (in terms of chip/flaking pattern), but it is heavy enough in my opinion.  Also, it wasnt exactly *his* aircraft.  I found a few sources saying he was flying a different Lieutenant's aircraft -or- he was an observer on this particular aircraft.

Correct, it wasn't "technically" Fuchida's aircraft but assigned to a Lt. Matuzaki - ist Flight Leader of Akagi's Kate's.

Fuchida just flew along as an Observer while he directed the Pearl Harbor attack.

damn that looks good....cheap JP paint..lol

I think I'm going try to work on the Ki67 this week..

Been off work 2 weeks - entertainment industry SLOW during holidays...lol But least that picks up right afetr christmas..lol Then I'll be cussing work again and all will be back to normal :)
