YourDead;
If you are getting alot of blackouts or stalls, check you joystick calibration on the scope. Make sure the movement is slow, corresponds to your joystick movement and has no sudden spikes.
Try adjusting your the bar sliders down near the bottom to start with. This allows the greatest movement of the joystick with the least control input, near the center of the joystick axis. Adjust your dampning slider to about 50%.
The idea is you that you can handle high speed turns and control when you black out, but have enough control to be able to fly at stall speed. Tweak these controls as you become accustomed to flying the various manuvers, gradually increasing the rate of control input.
Dogfighting is not just about turning. As a start, get a book that describes Basic Flight Manuvers (BFM) and Air Combat Manuvers (ACM), one with pictures would be best. This will teach you some efficient ways to perform turns. Practice these manuvers offline, until you know exactly how to do each and what the limitations are.
Then get back to me, I am no expert, but I can start you down the right path to learning. We can team up sometime, if you want, and you can practice staying on my six.
One quick tip: Don't jerk the controls, load and unload the plane slowly when turning. Keep your speed between 175 and 300mph, through your manuvers.
Good Luck!
