I'll have to call BS.  Since In-N-Out has no locations in our state, I'll have to stand on the grounds that Fatburger is "it".  They've been around 52 years.

(now, to settle this, one of you will have to step up and ship me an In-N-Out burger to test a side by side comparison)

I'd have to say yes....there food is great.  Also I love the simple menu.

They remind me of a local fast food place In Omaha called Broncos.

White Castle rocks too

Yeah, they cook the burger pattie to order, then you make the rest.

I'd rank them in right near the top for the best burger around.

Exactly (well, except for the super studmuffingy smilie), anyplace that has a giant vat of self-serve nacho cheese must be good.

Best burger I had in Seattle was at Dag's. It was on 4th Ave. The Dagilac burger and blackberry shakes rocked!

In-N-Out is the best fast food burger out there.  The double western bacon (Carl's) is good as is the bacon ultimate cheeseburger (Jack in the Box), but they in no way compare with the double double.  It truly is one of the great number of benefits to living in SoCal.  Hell, even the loser Zoners have some out in the desert as well.
