« on: January 24, 2000, 12:23:00 PM »
Hi Dots, i just downloaded your gunsight and I like one of the P51 sight (the one with the Circle and the V).
I copied it in the right directory I think (E:\Aces High\sights)
it doesnt change a thing, do i need to rename it ?

Depends what it's called.  There are 2 options.

1.  Call it default.bmp.  This will be the gunsight used on all planes that don't have a specifically named gunsight for that plane.

2.  Name it specifically for the plane, for example p51d.bmp will make it the gunsight for only the P51.

Now if only the danged sights were LIT in ALL planes.  Some, (most actually) are a green blur.  Pony and 109 are okay fer me, but the others are hard to see.  And the F4U...! I use the same sight in the 51 as the F4U, but the Hog shows the sight at HALF SIZE!!!  Sheesh  all that hud glass and this itty bitty sight?  C'mon folks.
