Heh, nope, no landing

20 seconds after that last shot I ended up skimming over the ground 250mph into a hill.
73: That six view wasn't working for me either, and it turns out I had tweaked the Z axis on accident instead of the Y, resulting in a very sensitive 'head forward' scaling. Regardless of where you turn your head, the Z axis is perpendicular to a line through your ears. It follows your current Yaw. Anway, my point is, it was moving too far in the aft direction of the cockpit while looking back. All axes are completely adjustable to your liking.
Grits: Yeah, numpad and hat views still function when TIR is enabled. To add to what Pongo is describing... Say you press and hold the 4 numpad key too look left. While the traditional view keys are pressed, pitch and yaw are disabled and the XYZ axes are still functioning. So while looking left using numpad, you can move your head up/down/back/forth/left/right if you like. The same is true for the six view. Press 2 numpad, lean left/right/up/down/etc...
otherwise just lean manually while your head is turned
