The guy should say "thank you" to her.  He shouldn't feel embarrassed either.  He lost his head, and he should feel relieved.  He is free!  Free to do anything he wants!  And, what  Drediock said, is true...more room in his bed, couch, or motorcycle, and he won't have to pay extra later, because her fat bellybutton won't fit in an airliner seat.  He just saved money on her birthday, Valentine's Day, and Christmas.  The girl ran and saved his life!  Vegas, South Beach, Cancun, Hawaii, will be much more fun now!  Damn, he is a lucky man.  I hope he sends her a "thank you" card.

You guys sure are shallow.  Sure she is too stupid to find him with clues, and certainly she has a big old fat ass, but he loves her and that is all that counts; I am sure he was crushed.

Well it appears both were really not prepared to get married. He wanted to but he apparently didn't know her well enough.
She's not the ***** here as she obviously didn't love him enough to commit to a lifetime together....
or maybe it was better to say yes and leave him hanging at the altar....
or maybe get married but then leave him for another man.
They'll both get over the embarrassment of that moment and move on...for the better.
