H2h Bug?/reformat

I was hosting in h2h and 2 nites in a row everyone in the room was booted, and not by me. On the first nite, I was having probs with a certain individual, who kept coming in under different aliases, and saying a bunch of stuff and just raising cane, trying to start trouble, and when i would boot him, the whole room would be booted.

Then someone came back into the room said i had better check out my puter, which when i tried to run my nortons anti virus (all updated) it said i was attacked and that a option file in nortons was target, and that i had to reinstall nortons.

New computer, trial version of Nortons, and no discs to reinstall. I could not run a virus scan, and I could not update the Nortons. So I had to reformat, which i'm sure u all know is not very fun.

The next night , people were being booted towards the end of a war, and not by me. I was a little more prepared this time and ran a security check right away, all it said was that a port scan was going on, so i blocked the port scan, and no one got into my puter. I think there was 2 different things going on, on the 2 different nights, as the people who we were fighting against were talking about some bug in here.(i will copy and paste what was being said at bottom of message).

After talking to some other people who host, 2 of them said they had to reformat also after that one guy from the first night was in their room also. One of them lost thier hard drive. On the 2nd night that one guy was NOT in the room, and it acted a little different than the 1st night, so for that reason and that it acted a little different then the 1st night, i believe it was 2 different things.

Anyways I thought i better say something. heres what was said in the forum about some glitch:

wins25th... Did you notice that the ENTIRE enemy team disappeared? Ever wonder why? After I switched I wanted to disconnect you from my flight so I upped and ejected (forcing you out).


The instant I ejected it said "wins25th has killed you" and I got an instant host connection lost.


It wasn't your router. It was the bug. EVERY person you kill will be kicked from the game.

Which corresponds to the timeframe you started doing this.


I'd NOT recommend anybody using this unless they want to clean out their room ASAP.

Wow, I never thought of it like that.

I always thought that if the person that you had joined left the game, AH crashed for some reason (never knew why).

I could sware it wasn't like that in AH~1.

Anyways, thanks for the info krusty, I'll go expirement summore now

What Krusty said has nothing to do with this.

There was a bug in AH1 H2H where if you are the host and you join someone, you will not leave the vehicle/plane, even if it crashes. When the person you joined respawns, you will STAY in the same vehicle/plane you were in before. So, say you joined a player, for example, in a B17 first. Then the player crashed. YOU will stay in the same plane (B17) and be able to gun out of it, unless you tower out by yourself. When the player respawns, you will see yourself as if in a B17, but the actual player can be in ANY plane or tank.

In AH2 H2H, There is the same bug. And you do it the same way. But there is speculation (What JUDE quoted) that if you do this, whoever you kill will get kicked from your server.

THIS WAS A BUG IN AH~1. To show you proof, HERE  is the thread where Raptor and I posted about the glitch.

This glitch has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with ME. It was likely a coincidence that you got connection lost when I shot you down. Unless you were not doing this with anyone else, this could not have been the issue.

On a Side note JUDE, I suggest you stop trying to get me in trouble with anything I do.

Im not trying to get you in trouble as you say, if i wanted to do that i would just write about other things people have seen, and you know what im talking about, but i wouldnt do that...and you had nothing to do with the person and the first night that i was having probs with that person(not you).

Just wanted to report that there could be a bug where people get kicked out of a room, i didnt lose connection, the others in the room did, you wwere one that seen what was happening there, and also wanted to say i didnt think it was the same as the first night with that one guy, i think its 2 different things.

it makes me wonder tho..why u said in that post that i copied and posted that u were GONNA go expereiment some more, and that was just days b4 our war, and people started getting booted out of the room...and it wasnt me. that does make me wonder..and it couldnt be ah1, cuz it was just days b4 our war u said that...i would like ah to see if there is a Glitch that they might want to fix is all.

Apparently you do like working the glitches as you have told me and my son b4.."its just a glitch" (100 goons)..well u get a reputation you live with it.

When I said that I as going to expirement, I meant that I was going to see and make sure if what Krusty said about the incident, about people getting booted by use of this, was right.

I really don't care if you report a bug or something about this glitch. What I really don't like you doing is including me in this. I don't need you telling everyone what happened a while back. If you actually have proof of this, go ahead and send it to HTC.

Anyways, this has been a glitch since a long while back. If you didn't use this, and like I said, only the host can, this could NOT have been the problem.

I remember I had the same problem in AH1, the game kept crashing after I hosted for 2 hours or so.
