zulu... that ain't a picture of the roads around my house.   I rode motorcycles for more years than you have I bet and it is you who are being the hypocrite... showing a bike in limeyland IN THE SUN not wet and not having the rain hit you in the face at 45 (the fastest you dare go on your crappy roads in the rain and fog)  In the face?  did I say in the face?  no... never happen...you spend 15 minutes getting all bundled up with leather clothes and a FULL face shield mounted to your sissy helmet and then... push a button to start your trumpet that you thank every gawd you know has bannished joe lucas from it's current (no pun intended) electrical system.  All that you can freeze to death riding 6 blocks to the "pub" or grocerty store.   You maybe get two pleasant days a year and probly get hurt on one of them.

and nash.... noo... that car screams "my wife is a schoolteacher but runs the house" or "yes, I revel in my lack of automotive savy"

I have no room to talk tho... my cars scream "knuckle dragger"

Oh and 153 is legal on the Autobahn only a shortish trip under the channel and through Belgium from here.

My level is obviously higher, due to chodes like yourself who are too lazy to start your own "Motorcycle Thread".   Instead you inject idiotic pictures of Traffic jams and continue to use the term as if every road in America has em.  You further show your ignorance by "attempting" to the hijack the thread to your liking.  You have failed schoolboy, drop the pencil.

A car so fast & intense Schumi said it shouldn't be released to the public. Originally $600k. Now valued over $2 million. $700 oil changes, $30,000 brake jobs, and an engine that costs more than a Lambo.

Somebody already total'd one here in Houston. That's what they get for turning off traction control =P

VWE, did you sell an RT/10 or a GTS?   I got to "park" an RT/10 back in 98, he ended up letting me drive it for 10 minutes before it was parked.   I went on the freeway, punched the watermelon out of it.  It was comfortable to me, but I kinda walked away expecting just a touch more from the engine.  I know they upped the HP in the new Vipers, is it a different feel nowadays?  I'm not slamming the Viper, for money it is a bargain, I'm just curious on your thoughts is all.

Lazs I've been riding 22 years. I dunno about you. Why did you give up?

You have a sadly negative view of our country. And you are forgeting we have Europe on our doorstep for when this Island feels a little too crowded. Oh and the TT every year just over the pond on the Isle of Mann

Mind you you are right about Joe Lucas "the prince of darkness"
Not the worlds greatest electrics though the italians are worse.

I'm not such a sissy as you presume. Most days apart from when I want to wind it on a bit or the weather is realy too bad, I wear an open face lid with goggles. kevlar reinforced jeans, and a leather jacket. Hardly the stuff you list.

Please have the good grace to stand partly corrected.

Now as for Hijacking the post. I think not. I simply wanted to start a bit of honest debate. Instead I get the usual diatribe off masher and a bit of self superiority from you. Oh well I expect that.

And yeah doesn't matter how fast the car is it'll still get stuck in a jam. I honestly cant see the point in all that performance and expense when you can only use it a fraction of the time that I can use the performance of my bike. I drive a sensible little Skoda car cheap and reliable and when i want a performance hit I'd take a bike every time!

zulu... I was over there once.   It does not compare to the highways and wide open spaces we have here..   please have the good grace to admit that you were at least partially wrong.

I have rode bikes from age 14 to 45... still try one if it is interesting or someone coerceces me into it.    The performance feel on a bike is much different than that of a car.   If you drove any car with performance you would know that.   I also see you weeping for the environment yet you ride a motorcycle with 3 times the HP you need to get around in

And why?  well... because you want to have your sefish fun...  the hypocracy is like a hit in the face with one of those cricket paddles you guys seem to like so much.... It is allright for you to destroy the earth for your kicks so long as you do it less than an suv driver (not that the fact that you are taxed out of driving one even if you wanted has anything to do with it).... when someone says they enjoy shooting sports as being "fun" you go all apopleptic and hollier than thou ... face it... you are in a glass house and chucking boulders at everyone who passes by.   Your "fun" is somehbow more important than others.

and... I quit when I got tired of it and started flinching at the aproching intersections... and when they decided that I had to wear a helmet or get arrested.    You probly think that helmet laws are good tho.

Basically, Laz, he is just a handsomehunk, and his opinions should be seen in that light.  Not worth a yawn, much less a response.

Lizking. That is an insult. Pity I expect more from people in here. But I guess yopu don't live up to expectations.

Lazs. Nope I think we should be free to choose whether we wear a helmet. Its my head.

I think this is a fine country to ride in. The current fad for speed cameras spoils things a tad but the continent isn't too far away when speed calls. the US is great for riding in too. Would like to do it when funds allow. So I grant you that, but variety is the spice of life eh? The USA is not the be all and end all of everything good in the world.

I notice you brought guns in again but you know my views on that so I'll leave it there.

And even though I have thrice the HP I might need my bike still gets me there faster and so burns less fuel. ( I live in a city so thats what I mean about journey times fuel economy less polution etc. I go through traffic I don't sit in it burning fuel going nowhere)

So I fear you have me right about somethings but wrong about others. Still at least this is a reasoned debate not an exchange of purile insults eh Masher, Lizking et al ?

It was, and I apologize, but your posts of the past couple of days are an insult to humanity and common sense, so I await your apology as well.
