higher pings
« on: February 12, 2005, 10:49:35 AM »
Ever since the new version I've been getting pings of 100-120
upon entering the game. Prior to this I used to get 50's-60's.
My ping plot shows a max of 54 (thru 10 hops) before savvis. I get 100+ now at savvis and the final hop.  Also now seem to lose udp and boot alot since it's random no rhyme or reason couple times in a 3 hour period. Been like this for about 3 weeks.

my ping rate has always been 109 flat, even since AH1.

but last update it's now at 120-130, and i have been noticing rubber bullets and small warp lags since.

the worst is bombers, I emptied a Niki's guns dry from full loadout into a set of lancs scoring many, many hits from no more than 400yrds but did little more than hole a fuel tank.

a squaddy and I then tested it in the DA and all three lancs burnt and died with just little squirts of Niki cannon every time we tried it.
And I don't know much, but I do know this. With a golden heart comes a rebel fist.

my ping went from 31 to 94.  I can log in at 78 when the ping settles and I hit the MA button before it jumps up again to 94 or higher.
