Ya the diesles get way better milage. My dad has an F350 with the old 7.3 powerstoke and he gets way better milage then me.
All a matter of is the milage worth the extra 5 grand. At 10k per year for me it would take me along time to pay for the engine upgrade.

Me: 04 Ram laramie, quad cab, 5.7 hemi,  almond color.  Chose the almond color because I think that color gets stopped by the cops less when its coming home from the bar to play AH.

Wife: 02 Jeep Grand Cherokee, overland, 4.sumthin V8, maroon color.

Both are, of course 4 wheel.  Youd be crazy to get anything else up here in ND.

90% of the time I drive our 2000 Grand Prix GTP(mildly modded). 10% of the time I drive our 1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport. My wife's driving times are opposite of mine. I have fun beating up on all the ricers with fart cans when driving the GTP. Some of them actually are surprised that some old man is racing them. Loads of fun.

My daily driver is a 2003 Suzuki Aerio SX, 5 speed. My Wife's is a 2003 Suzuki Aerio GS sedan, 4 speed auto. My Zook has 17,000 miles, my wife's has just 5,000 miles. Sitting in the garage is a 2003 Subaru WRX that only goes out on nice days. It has just over 8,000 miles on it. My daily drive is just 10 miles to work and back, so I don't put a lot of miles on the cars. Both of my daughters (ages 21 and 20) drive Suzukis as well.

Here's my Zook (note the vanity plate) parked at our favorite waterfront restaurant.

My pride and joy: A GM product from 1971, Opel Kadett 'B'. 1100cc, 55hp, drum brakes all round, four on the floor :D

Spent too much money on that baby, have it for 13 years now.

My daily drive: Fiat Marea Weekend 1.6 1998. No prancing horses here, a reliable (yes, really) workhorse. It has done 213.000km op LPG now and will undoubtedly do many more. It's boring as hell though, not very Italian

this is a cool thread, some cool rides ya all have, my tire turners consist of 1986 and  2005 chevy silverdo  ,  1971 plymouth duster 340 <--- love this car,  just finished except interior and paint & trim,

Then for the breeze a 1998 harley 1200 sportster with the screaming eagle performance package  , and to throw dirt around if pavement gets old - 2001 honda XR 650L <----  great for going half pavement then take a extream right or left turn to the Dirt the rest of the way.  or to ditch the cops  lmao  j/k  :p

Also still have my first car ever got, its parked, its getting makeover  1964 plymouth belvdere w/1971 340. <-- love this car too!   Good ol street racing days!

How about the new 2005 mustang gt 300 hp,  sweet looking!!!!!  my favorite year mustang styling  67 fastback  :)       Hope chevy and dodge retro something too!    like a Hemi cuda , GTX , roadrunner and a 69 chevy camero  something in those type styles.  A after market 69 camero full body is available , just gotta add the goodies,  sweet!!  :p
