"Hello, I'm Johnny Cash"

Those four words resonated throughout the world much as "In God We Trust" and other familiar phrases which have stood the test of time.

Yet the introduction was never any more necessary than telling someone the name of the Mona Lisa when viewing the painting. Johnny Cash has been a household name for more than most people can remember, and his career spanned nearly five decades.

Few artists in history ever enjoyed the successful career Cash did. Many people describe him as a mythical, larger than life figure. Others describe him as one of the greatest recording artists of all time.

Yet there is no one description which adequately fits The Man In Black. He was a complex, unpredictable, ball of talent and energy that no one has ever been able to pigeonhole or categorize.

Johnny Cash's legacy will live on forever. His music, integrity and deeds will survive time itself. His contributions to mankind are immeasurable. A man loved by millions the world over; he is deeply missed.

Just pick any 10 he wrote or recorded.

Some of you older gents may not know them well but Green day is slowly becoming a band that will be remembered for years. They have been releasing albums since 1990. Although they never made world news untill their 1994 release of Dookie. They have continued to prove their ability with their new cd American Idiot wich grab all sorts of awards.

To me its amazing that they started out so long ago, in a time when many bands only lasted a few years and are still as big as they were then.

Here are my top ten from them.

1. Basket Case
2. Welcom to paradise
3. Nice guys finish last
4. Wake me when september ends
5. Minority
6. Warning
7. Boulevard of Broken Dreams
8. She
9. Walking Alone
10. When I come around

well every song on every Cd i got is good

Every time u hear it, it gets  better

That's because every musician in that band is really excellent.

They all came from Jazzy fusion bands And than they got together and played rock.

Mick Jagger really loved them and had them at their tours.
It was not normal they got in friendship with the stones.

If u want a quality band this is it.

Lots of great music has been made but THE BEATLES were and are untouched as far as hits and influence.
