Couple of questions for for you guys
« on: February 25, 2005, 08:15:10 AM »
to all the squads in squad ops,
I would like to ask you a couple of questions.

1) what would you like to see more of?

2) what is your opinion on GV's as limited roll .Maybe like in a 2nd life rule like the bombers

3)What is your favorite front ?

We would like to see bigger, better bomber missions.  Lots of bombers.  With bombs.  And guns.  Did I mention bombs?

We like GVs.  GVs are good, especially when they have other GVs to play with.  Think "Kursk".  That would be GVs, IL2s, Stukas, and lots of fun.

We prefer full frontal nudity.

Bombers, with formations, any theater and a corned beef sandwich on rye with swiss and mustard.
Easy in-game again.

To shoot at or fly goose? Do the CHawks want buffs every frame? If so let us know and we can do that for you since most squads prefer fighters. :)

Jugs, Mossies, GV's, 110's Early war stuff, 1940,41&42, especially for IJN.  Anything unique that would simulate real world situations.   Maybe more targets or adding small targets of opportunity to attack.

I feel that generally, with the exception of the large U.S. bombing raids, and late in the war, the defending side of an engagement would usually have a numerical advantage.  This numerical advantage was offset by the ability of the attackers to concentrate their forces and to use suprise and attack when the enemy is least prepared.  This unique kind of cat and mouse game is something that Squad Ops is particularly capable of recreating.  I think that even events that are not historically accurate, but sort of "what if" type scenario's would be fine to run so long as it provides an enjoyable framework to conduct squad operations.

Not every time daddog, but we have several guys that really like level bombing and we're all very good at it.

They really want to get a bomber assignment when possible.

Just for future reference....

I personally love em all! GV would be fun too!

Ok sounds good goose. :)

Make sure  you always tell your frame C.O. that.  I am pretty sure you will get buffs most of the time if that is your slant. :)
