I would not take the extra 20mm cannon on the Fw190A-5. They only have 60 rounds each and are MG/FF cannon.  MG/FF have a much lower muzzle velocity than the Mg151/20 cannon do.

All that said, I can't say I'm terribly experienced in Fw190As.

I take 4 x 20mm in both the a8 and a5 I fly the 190f8 a bunch and it seems to fit somewhere in between the a5 a8 fm but without those other 2 20mms you definatley notice the difference.

Likewise I used to fly the a5 and did so with 2 x 20mm. Snapshots are much more effective 4 x 20mm.

Besides the weight reduction is minimal in the main when facing spits nikis and la7s. They still will eat you up if you rely on the fm to get you out alive. You gotta hit umm hard and quickly.

just find they way how to get lose MGs and 20 mm canons , with only 30 mm the a8 can be realy nasty
