yup it was a tragic day for me....
well ok it wasnt real red blood but there was a whole lot of transmission fluid from my jeep all over the road after a cooling line broke.
It freakin sucked cause I was on my way to work and was covered head to toe trying to fix it enough on the side of the road so I could get to a service station and buy $.71 worth of tubing and $12 worth of tranny fluid to get me the rest of the way to work.
What topped the cake was the comment when I walked into work. I was dirty head to toe with oil and grime and somone just simply looked at me and said "what's that in your hair"
The only reason I knew to stop when I did was the fact that I the cab was filled with smoke and either my rear view was foggy or I was trailing it big time. I seriously thaught my jeep was on fire. My life with my jeep flashed before my eyes and I actually thaught....."is this the end". But, as I learned later the line that broke was up near the radiator and it just happen to throw fluid on the the engine fan wich flung it all over the engine compartment to include over flowing the side of the hood.
that dentist apointment I had was a good time compared to this roadside repair.
