That is so sweet!

Looks to me like you could use more dappling on the lower half of the fuselage and tail, and maybe the background of the '2' ID number on the tail could be brighter, but you've done a great job here and its definitely a cool skin. WTG!

How many Ju88s did the Free French field against the Germans?

That looks really good Raptor, the French did have some really nice colour schemes on the aircraft. Apart from Oboe's comments I'd add that the stripes look a bit large compared to the kit, possibly they could be greyed down a touch as well.

I think the shadow is making the background of the 2 look darker, I made it lighter and dont see much of a difference. Also did the rest of your suggestions and its on AH-skins now.

On October 16th 1944, 3 Ju88s took off from Blagnac (Toulouse, SO France) for their first combat mission: only with a difference; German bombs dropped from German aircraft, but on German troops that were remaining in the Bordeaux region, "retour ࠬ'envoyeur" (back to the sender).

Did you notice anywhere on his references where he showed photos of the invasion stripes on the Ju88s? It seems way out of place for that time frame and nothing on the sites he linked for references showed it. Not complaining, just curious as modelers can use some artistic license so an actual photo of a Ju88 with D-Day stripes would be better.

I think it would have made them more likely targets as no one else was using the D-Day stripes at that late date.

Is there an actual image in the book that isn't artwork showing the stripes?

They remind me of the Suez stripes, except those were yellow and black.
