« on: February 22, 2001, 10:27:00 PM »
4 diffrent model 109's.

4 diffrent models of 190's.

2 jugs.

2 f4's.

2 spits.

2 yaks.

1 pony.

Could it be we will get the P51B/C or a Mustang III and the P51H this release?

I hope!

It's a Luftwaffe heavy release, so I wouldna be surprised if one of the 2 unvieled kites is another LW kite.  Could even be the D9 so many waffles want so badly (it was on the list with the Yak9UT (which turned in a Yak9T   ), Ta152, and others), but a 109-E model wouldna surprise me either (buncha people want those too).

The other one I think is gonna be American iron, a varient on something we already have.  F4U-1A (would be nice   ), P-51B/C or even H, or maybe the P-47M/N.  Fits with the new/mod/varient numbers listed in other threads anyway.

Of course there's the possibility of a couple of Jap kites, but I recall mention of 1.07 being a navy heavy release so I'm kinda expecting alot of IJN planes in 1.07.

And with all that being typed I wouldna be surprised if I'm totally off the mark on everything

I saw on a post a while back that Pyro mentioned we will be getting the Mustang MkIII 'Eventually'.

My guess for one of the two planes to come will be either:
P51 B/C (Mustang Mk III)
P51 H  (Perked - of course)

P-38J and P-38D.

change the camo, crappier engines and in the D's case, put a 37mm cannon instead of the 20mm

Spit XIV.

The 51H would be very cool. But I think they will hesitate befor introducing something that never saw service(combat?) in WW2. But I sure hope we do get it...

Hmm...I don't think the B-29...too many polys and such, get up close FR drops to hell. Perhaps a Mustang MkIII or the Dora, but wouldn;t be surprised to see more Jap planes, or even Italian plane...

I was told the G.55 "Centauro" and the SM79 "Sparviero" torpedo-bomber will be the last two planes for 1.06 ... sorry guys, I've bribed SUPERFLY (24 bottles of Brunello di Montalcino red wine)

With 8 planes in the release don't expect for one of the "unannounced" to be a bomber.

Bombers take up almost as many art resources per position as one complete fighter (approximately).

I would expect to see two more varients of some sort.

Maybe a P-51 varient, the Dora, or a P-38 of some type.

Edit: After rethinking this a bit, you might see a bomber... varient that is. Maybe a early B-17F, or a Ju-88 varient.
