Let the fun begin!
« on: April 05, 2005, 03:27:36 AM »
Almost 2 years ago I set out to stockpile 20,000 perks so I could buy the Messerschmidt factory that builds ME-262's. Periodically along the way I would treat myself to a perk ride or 3.

When I logged tonight, my last sortie (2 B-24's, 2 B-17's) put me at 20,001 perks!

I have decided to not limit myself to just ME-262's. I probably wont fly the SpitXIV much, but the Tempest and F4U-4 will see heavy use along with the Messerschmidt. :D

In the end you should be thankful for those players like us who switch to try and help keep things even because our willingness to do so, helps a more selfish, I want it my way player, get to fly his latewar uber ride.

Perk Maxwell House.

Why fly a 262 when you can fly a Tempest?

That's what I want to know...

Tempest = God

You can buy 3+ Tempests for the price of one 262...No offense to the jet jocks but the 262 is not 3 X better than the Tempest...ummm Tempest please!

Well I'll leave the skills to the more appropriate pilots ;)

20-25 MPH Difference Rod,  not a staggering amount,you would expect alot more in a perk plane.

Like four 20mm Hispano cannons sporting almost 600 rounds of ammo?  Better acceleration than the La7?  And better instantaneous turnrate and high speed handling?

:cool:

This is nice and all, but the man whoom created this post chooses to spend his points on his ride of choice, thusly he will take the 262, granted we all have our favorites (109E-4 and F-4)  but he has chosen the 262 as it said in his title. :)
