im using AMD 3000+ 64 athlon
and the prosessor is 1.87 gh.
that is ok , i was aware of it when i bout it.
i asked the diler same as you, and he says
AMD operating diferent then Pentum..

Kev had the answer for you in the other thread maxxius.  Your multiplier is set wrong.  On an HP you arent going to be able to change that.  Its a factory defect and you need to take it back for replacement.
