It would be nice to have a walkaround view in the hangar, so you could take a good look at a skin when you choose it. That would be a nice reward to those who work hard to provide the skins. Besides, the description does not tell you much about the skin, other than the unit the real plane flew with. It doesn't even give the real pilot's name.

Agreed! More so since the real meat of the skin is located on the port side of the fuselage and well away from the point of view in the hanger.

i agree but didnt you use to be able to use the HAT control while in hangar?

F3, then F8 then use your zoom keys.

I like it. maybe we'd have to go back to a hangar view like in AH1, but as it stands now, you don't see much of the skins, and that's kind of a shame. The ability to pan around the plane in the hangar would be a nice touch.
