Finding a trainer

Hey guys
How do I go about trying to find a trainer ?
I really want to learn and enjoy this more and so does anyone know how I can hook up with one?
Do I just hang out in the TA for example?

As far as I understand it you just need to go to the TA and ask on either the country channel or ch1.
