It seems as though something has changed recently to make the A20 extremely sensitive and vulnerable to attack. I've noticed this both as an A20 pilot as well as a GV driver who has shot at my fair share of A20s.
Every time I fly an A20 now and I get shot at, I die extremely quickly, very often just after the first round hits. It doesn't seem to matter what's shooting at me. Any plane or GV kills me right away -- I barely hear a round hit me, and I'm dead. And it's not as if the plane just falls apart quickly --> I just die instantly.
I thought I was just getting unlucky until I noticed how easy it was to shoot down an A20 from the ground. I've had several instances of being able to do an insta-kill on an A20 from an Ostie. Normally if I hit the wing of any plane with an Ostie, the wing comes off and the plane spirals to the ground. If I hit an A20, it blows up instantly as if I hit the pilot.
To the end of absurdity, just today, I hit an A20 in the wing with a single round of my M3's 50cal, and what happened? It blew up!
There's something very wrong with the strength of the A20. I have to think twice about even taking it these days because I know that if I encounter any resistance at all, I'm dead for sure.
Please fix the A20!
