That's not big JB.  Saw an SR-71 one day.  18 feet long.  I wish I had pictures of it.  I have seen an even larger B52 as well.

There are some large RC's out there.

I'd really like an RC F-15 or F-18.  Right now I don't even have a workbench so my RC stang is in a box in the garage, accumulating hangar rash for no good reason.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.

I have an F-15 eagl.  It's without engines right now as I am trying to convert from fanjet to turbine.

Wow!  Beautiful Panther.  Love to see more.
Do not attribute to malice what can be easily explained by incompetence, fear, ignorance or stupidity, because there are millions more garden variety idiots walking around in the world than there are blackhearted Machiavellis.

For those who wonder, the completed weight is 42lbs, which is in limit of the Top Gun max weight.

Costed 30K, which is not much compared to the previous Top Gun winner, the 81K scratch built Dragonfly that can be seen in the first picture.

The Panther has all the goodies u would expect, working "top fuse cooling trap doors", lights, rivets, panel lines, working tail hook, tail bump, flaps, air brakes ...

By the time you reach that skill level, you just get ticked off at yourself for crashing as you know better.

Hehe, you will not find one piece of duct tape on my F15.

However, I do have a F16 which had to have emergency surgery due to a mishap and to get the pieces home I did use the magic silver stuff to retain them all.

Err, arent those turbines like $3k each?  Or have they come down in price some?

There's some fun ducted fans out there these days, even Almost Ready to Fly and electrics.
