Best Bank I've ever dealt with. Why you guys have a big problem with them.

I've only delt with the same little podunk hometown bank for 30 years. No problems so far.

Worse then BofA is that Stagecoach robber bank. What they did to turn a $5 overdraft on my account, into $200 in fees was truly a work of art.

Typical right wing hypocrisy. Obviously you had complete control over you overdraftness and now you are blaming corporate America for your troubles...

Simply saying don't deal with an institution is not much of a communication. Why should anyone not deal with them just because you say so?
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

I have use BoA for the past six years now. I like them. I get direct deposit so I know by 2am my check has cleared. I have never had them shut my card off. But I have had the "Mr Wells, this is blahuarenotimportantenoughfor metorememberyournameblah from Bank of America. I have a few questions from you. On such and such date we have you making a purchas from Best buy for a blah blah blah. I kind of like that they ask me. Lets me know they are looking out for me. Which is there job.

Lol, when I was in school we used to refer to those overdraft notices as "Good Banking Awards" heh.

It never occured to me to blame the bank. I guess I lack imagination.

when I draft a $500 rent check and take $20 out of an atm when $531 is in the account, then I am responsible on my end. When the check takes almost a week longer then normal to clear and coincidentaly $20 in fees is taken out the same day the check clears and my paycheck comes in I have no control over that.

ROFL! Something alont those lines hit me too!

I was with Wells Fargo, and I had them transfering 100 bucks of a direct deposit into a savings account. They charged me 5 bucks each pay period to do this (yes, it was stupid, I was 18, what do you expect lol). So ok, everythings cool.

I have about 20 bucks in the account, and I leave it idle when I get transfered to Texas. Now; I'm only going to be in Texas for 4 months, then I fully intend to go back to Wells Fargo when I get done with my training. Great. Everyone's happy.

Yet, every two weeks, Wells Fargo Charged me 5 bucks to transfer $0.00 from Checking to Savings. lol. You can imagine my surprise when I started to get "Good banking Awards" while I was in Texas. They had overdrawn the account with the fees, and were not coming after me for the service Charges.

It was all cleared up with 2 letters and about 4 phone calls, but still, it was pretty funny.
