It appears that once again, our elected officials, Hatch in particular, just don't get it. Flag desecration is a form of expression and therefore protected by the 1st Amendment to the Constitution. Hell... Even Colin Powell is against this new amendment.

I really wish they would let this go and move on to more important issues rather than this continued wasteful posturing.
