This has been present for a while, so I'm not sure if it's been discussed already, or if it's a code "feature " rather than a bug. Nonetheless, its annoying.
When a player controlled buff nosedives, due to damage or pilot choice, drones that cant follow will appear to be moveing on previous heading for a second, then they'll warp off another 300 meters. They keep doing this until the primary pops, apparently because they cannot follow but have not yet crossed the distance limit for buff drone destruction. The problem results in frantic fighter pilots yodelling "warpin!!" in unison, but also means destruction of the doomed drones becomes physically impossible until the situaion stabilizes or the pop threshold is crossed.
Could instructions be written so vertical separation results in earlier drone destruction, or so the drones will destroy themselves earlier with severe primary craft maneuvering?
