yah me too, upon reflection. But the balloon is up....

subject came up at a club dinner last night...  topic seemed to wander from racisim to nationalism.. and which was the greater evil. was thought provoking. everybody left with all their appendages.

sometimes the word nationalism is just putting a less ugly mask on the word racism.  

nationalism that fears racial mixing is simply following normal KKK teachings.  Same for feeling that only people of that nations  race can understand the nation.

for instance... Japan is racist not nationalist.

From my experience, I'd say Japan. People in arabic countries are extremely friendly to foreigners, and I can't imagine why England and Ireland are on the list...

I lived 6 years in Japan... and saw far more racism in Yurop than I ever saw there, especialy northern Yurop.
