your obituary
« on: June 02, 2005, 11:41:21 AM »
i came across the following in yesterdays local mainstream paper.

(true.  not from spam...lol)

 Don Chase, geologist, August 7th, 1927 - May 29, 2005

I died of cancer at my home in Bluewater Bay. That's OK, I was 77. It's not OK when kids and young adults die of it. Could $312 billion find a cure?

My son James died three days before me. I did not know. I do now.

At a later date, my family; wife of 56 years, Betty; James' wife of seven years Marine Col. Catherine; daughters and sister Carol Hilton and husband Philip will scatter our ashes from kayaks.

In lieu of condolences, get your colonoscopies, mammograms, PSA and Pap tests, and support Covenant Hospice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Heritage Gardens Funeral Home, Niceville, Florida

what would your obituary say?
this thread is doomed.

I'll never forget my father's last words: "Boy, you ain't got the guts."
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
