Router/hub questions
« on: June 14, 2005, 03:14:03 PM »
Anyone here have any experience with them? I have the following:

Baystack 204, 151, 256

Centrecom 3024TR

Cisco 2501, (anyone know what its used for?)

Cisco 400 series hub/router?

Are these really worth much or not? I only paid $10 for a total of 16 of these assorted items from a govt auction.

Regarding the Cisco gear, it's probably not worth that much to a business since they are no longer supported.  However you might find someone who's trying to build a network on the cheap that might want to snap them up.  Just do a search on Google and you can see who still sells these devices.

Cisco 2501 - pretty much the router used by small remote offices for businesses with WAN (T1 V.35 interface) and LAN (ethernet) connectivity.

Cisco 400 - 10/100mbps hub with 12-24 ethernet ports to create a LAN.

Can't comment on the Baystack or centrecom devices.
