Rudeness in Training Arena
« on: December 12, 2000, 09:24:00 PM »
Tonight the VMF 111 was running a squad practice in the training arena. This was constantly interupted by an individual attacking us after repeatedly being asked not to.

Not going to mention any names here, but you know who you are, and we do. I thought you were made of better stuff than that. You had my respect for your actions in the MA. I'm quite surprized you did what you did.

Yes its just a game, but the rule in the TA is to leave others alone unless invited. To disrupt others is just plain rude.

You got a ways to go to get back to where you were in my eyes.

Nuff said!

Weave,

You should have filmed it and sent it in. Even if it was an old head (and several are now flying there more than MA) they should suffer the consequences of their actions. He made his bed he should lie in it.

Film it, report it...they'll probably boot him from the T/A for a while.  I hate it when I can't get access to T & A.

If someone is abusing the Training Arena, please send me a note privately.  A screenshot or film would help, but are not necessary.  If someone is causing a problem, something will be done about it.

Please folks, we'll do our best to keep Training Arena a good place to learn, but we need your help!  Please be considerate of others in the TA, and try to help if you can.  If there are problems, email me at sconrad@hfx.eastlink.ca.

Thanks Lephturn. I didn't want to start a big fracus, just let the individual know what he did was not appreciated in the least. He is quite active on these boards so I knew he would see my post.

Hopefully he got the message, and this will be the last of it. If the problem continues, I will keep you informed.
