I have just go a saitek x-52 stick and throttle setup, but I am having trouble programming the 2nd hat switch for more views in a fighter. The AH joystick set up does not seem to recognize the 2nd switch. Has anyone else had this situation? Any advice would be welcome.

I use the little button on the throttle as my up view master so that when I have that pressed I can scan around with the main hat on the jstick and get the 45 degree up view of all the views.

Go to select joystick, and look for the second hat. Press it see if it lights up. when you click it its probally under the status of "None(0)" Meaning that its unused. What you have to do is move click
on the ah colum Hat 2, and go to set input

no no no. the second hats dont show up in ah. you MUST install the software for the stick(its in the back of the manual). it is so good. once you do that, you can program the hat to be anything you want

poo's right,

I had the x52 liked the stick but the throttle set up was annoying and anyways what can you do with 10,000,000 different shiftable buttons and hats.  Plus it was too light for my manhandling of the controls.

The only real thing i liked about the throttle is using the nimble stick scripted for fast  chandells where it kills the inboard eng and sets your controls and either eng speed in optimal position to reverse your heading extremely fast, awsome for p38s.
