Larence of Arabia -
When Larence, a no name officer before he left,  comes back to the officers club after crossing the one desert to take the port and then another desert to shock his command to report that the port was taken.

When his army comes across the Turk army just after they had destroyed the home village of one of the soldiers in Larence's army....  "No prisoners!"

Devils Brigade - When they took the outpost on top of the hill... then Cliff Roberts dies.

Patton -
Opening scene where he gives his speech in front of the American Flag.  ( can you imagine seing that movie in a theater when it first came out!  Must have been awesome)

ooh ooh, I saw that one recently. Fred McMurray was the test pilot who died, and as he was spinning out of control in his Grumman Duck (at least that was what it looked like) he was pinceling final notes about heating the oxygen tube, or something,  to prevent icing at alt. Then he blacked out from lack of O2.

Practically every scene in ZULU . But especially the British soldiers sing, as mentioned in a former post, and the scene where they repulsed the Zulu warriors with volley musket fire. Man, that was so riviting!!

Full Metal Jacket - opening monologue

Full Metal Jacket - Pyle in the bathroom

Platoon - when Barnes comes into the drug bunker drunk as a skunk, and Taylor bashes his head into the pole

Enemy at the Gates - the sex scene

Enemy at the Gates - when Vassili first uses the gun and gets the dude in the shower

Behind enemy Lines - when being chased by tons of enemies, Burnett hides in the ditch full of bodies

Saving Private Ryan - when they are talking about how and who to gripe to
I don't know what to put here yet.

The fight for the Factory and Control Room in "Stalingrad"

The Discussion of Death between two French Soldiers, "Paths of Glory"

Defense and Recapture of the Trenches in "All Quiet on the Western Front"
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Hangtime, I think the movie you're refering to is "The Longest Day."  Great Choice - my son picked up the DVD for me for Father's day.

For all those mentioning Saving Private Ryan - I think it's gonna be  on TNT this weekend.
