opps....perhaps we should step back once.....
You may have to also "set all buttons". The path is
esc/setup/controls/joystick/select joystick. In the center window which shows your joystick name look for the "set buttons" under it and hit both of those.
Then go to stick mapping and take a look at all your buttons. When you press the pinky button it will darken on of those numbers under the hats.
Then look up to the top right where you see "global","view, flight" buttons hit view and scroll down and set the button for "look up" to the pinky button.
Once you set it you can check it and it should work fine. You can set all your buttons in stick mapping.
One caution... take a look at all the buttons on the right list and make sure you haven't duplicated anything. If you have any problems you can remove all the buttons sets and begin again but you probably don't need to.
I hate to say it but it normally takes me 1/2 hour to 45 minutes to get someones stick setup. Not only do you have to set all the views to the hat but you have to set all the views from the cockpit. Also, you need to adjust pitch, roll and yaw (rudder) sliders. Then you have to stick map all the buttons. It can be time consuming but other than plane views you only need to do it once. Plane views need to be set once also, but for each plane.
Once you have everything set its a whole new ballgame and you will be shocked at the difference in your game play.
Hope this helps.
