Well, they can't seem to tell me. All they can say is sorry, you have to call the second you notice a problem and hopefully you can get through out ****ty tech support automation bull****.

just replaced with a LinkSys

problem solved.

Doesnt Cox charge 10$ a month for modem rental?
Will you have cable for more than 8 months?
Do the math - go buy one.

Sigh, it gets really old having to type the same thing over and over again.

I called Cox, and they replaced my modem, it works fine now. However, I cannot just go out and buy one. I use their digital telephone service, therefore I hafta have a telephony modem. You can't buy them. Well, here anyway. Closest thing you can buy is those stupid vonage routers, which wouldn't do me any good.
