Some RAF coastal command libby's (mk V's i think) could carry 8 x rocket projectiles.
I am not ashamed to confess that I am ignorant of what I do not know.

More than likely it was a PB4Y-1. The PB4Y-1 is the navy version of the B-24 Liberator.
The PB4Y-2 Privateer was a development of the late single-tail B-24N Liberator

A few Liberator IIIs(GR V) were fitted with a special airfoil winglet attached to either side of the lower forward fuselage below the cockpit. These removable winglets carried eight 5-inch High Velocity Aircraft Rockets (HVAR) for attacking surfaced German submarines.

The all Czech No. 311 Squadron of the RAF Coastal Command flew some of their B-24s with rockets.  Some of them were equipped with 4 5-inch rockets mounted in airfoil shaped mounts forward of the bomb bay.  No. 311 Squadron even reported at least 1 U-boat sunk by these rockets.
