Yeesh, I'm just kidding.

If you want to solve it for now, find and download the newest drivers. Search for a thread on how to install them.

If you want it to actually get fixed, buy a new sound card. I reccomend the SoundBlaster Audigy 2 ZS.

Oh man, I'm sorry. It's the video card. Man, that was smooth.

I really can't reccomend a video card. Same goes with the drivers though.

Excuse OOZ, he's spent so much time hiding in the AA guns he's high from the powder smoke.

What you have is an S3 Virge chipset for your onboard video.  The S3 Virge is incompatible with Aces High, and really doesnt work all that well with other Direct X games either.  You can try downloading the newest drivers, as was suggested, and see if that makes the game playable.  My guess is that you will have to upgrade the video to an onboard card.  You will need to see what type of interface you have available inside your computer (AGP, PCI, or PCI express).   Figure out what you can afford to spend, and shop around.

Hrm.  Sorry.  Ok, blunt and as simple as can be.  You need a new video card.

Here's a link to VIA Arena, talking about the KM400 Unichrome graphics unit.  It's not DX 9.0 compatible, which means it wont work for any game that requires Direct X 9.0 (like Aces High).  New drivers wont do you any good for that graphics unit (according to them).

basically what you have is a word processor type pc ... its not a gammer

you might get lucky and find a video driver that may work for some games .. but flight sims are a different animal and require a gammer type pc  w/ intensive video card in them.

if you have an agp port on your mainboard then you can disable the on board an add a video card and get by fairly well .. bit if not then your stuck with a pci type card and there not really that good in todays games.
