Hoof, you know the guy who put together the Warbirds performance pages, alias, programmer for CRS, explains in detail the flight modelling of WW2OL with reply's to some questions via email.  Fletchmann brought up some good points on the 109E, and Hoof countered with some unknown info that I didn't know about the 109e stabilizer...........

Go check it out, well worth the reading.  Not sure if Hoof's info is all accurate though.

Hmm, very interesting article...

Although I still think the 'Emil' looses to little E in hard manouvers Hoof is right about the stall thingy. Nice info on the 109 Elev trim!

I noticed if you trim the Emil upwards it can very beasty in hard turns. It allows you to pull more force but as you approach stall speed be gentle on the stick or the inner wing will drop violently - yet easy to recover this is deadly at low alt!! Try it for yourself!!

Good to hear that they're aware of the lack of rudder authority! I find this the most annoying issue at the moment!

I have good hope that the WW2O FM won't have to hide behind AHs after some tuning!


I strongly suggest everyone being so harsh at the FM to take a look at that article - surely worth a read!!!
